⏱ Delivery Times & Turnaround Policy

Standard Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timelines vary depending on the service purchased and begin only after:

  • payment is confirmed,
  • all required information is received,
  • scope is agreed in writing,
  • and scheduling (if applicable) is confirmed.

Indicative timeframes:

  • Interviews (online or in person):
    • Scheduling: within 3–5 business days
    • Interview delivery: on the agreed date/time
    • Optional add-ons (transcripts, summaries): 5–7 business days
  • Interview Coordination & Scheduling:
    • Outreach & scheduling: 5–10 business days, depending on responsiveness of third parties
    • Complex or multi-interview coordination may require additional time
  • Writing, Analysis & Strategic Content:
    • Short-form content: 7–10 business days
    • Long-form articles / analysis: 10–20 business days
    • Books, scripts, or multi-part projects: timelines agreed per milestone

These are estimates only. Actual delivery will be agreed with the client based on their needs, the package purchased, and any optional add-ons. Timelines begin once payment is confirmed, all required information is provided, and the scope is finalised.

Delivery Depends on Client Input

Delivery timelines may be extended if:

  • required materials are delayed,
  • feedback or approvals are slow,
  • interviewees are unavailable,
  • scope changes mid-project.

Delays caused by the client or third parties do not constitute late delivery.

No Guaranteed Outcomes

For services involving:

  • outreach,
  • scheduling,
  • third-party participation,
  • publication or media impact,

delivery refers to professional effort, not guaranteed results.

I cannot guarantee:

  • response rates,
  • acceptance by third parties,
  • interviewee attendance,
  • publication, reach, or performance metrics.

Rush Delivery (Optional)

Where offered, rush delivery:

  • shortens timelines where realistically possible,
  • is subject to availability,
  • carries an additional fee.

Rush delivery must be selected before work begins.

Force Majeure & Unforeseen Delays

Delays caused by:

  • illness,
  • technical failure,
  • force majeure events,
  • legal or ethical review requirements,

may extend timelines without penalty. Clients will be informed promptly.

Communication & Updates

You will receive:

  • confirmation once work begins,
  • timeline updates as needed,
  • notification upon delivery.

Excessive check-ins do not accelerate delivery.

Editorial Independence & Scope of Work

All work is produced under principles of editorial independence, ethical journalism, and factual analysis.

I reserve the right to:

  • decline or terminate any project that falls outside ethical, legal, or professional standards,
  • refuse requests that involve misinformation, hate speech, personal targeting, or unlawful activity,
  • adjust scope where necessary to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance.

This service focuses on analysis of narratives, ideologies, media ecosystems, and propaganda techniques, not personal attacks or harassment.

No Targeting of Individuals or Protected Groups

Content will not:

  • target individuals for harassment or defamation,
  • attack or stereotype groups based on religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, or protected characteristics,
  • incite harm, discrimination, or hostility.

Analysis addresses ideas, organisations, messaging strategies, and media patterns, not identities.

Editorial Standards & Ethics

All content adheres to:

  • International journalism ethics
  • Human rights frameworks
  • Responsible media practices

I do not produce content that targets individuals or communities based on religion, ethnicity, gender or nationality.

Legal & Platform Compliance

All content is written to comply with:

  • EU and international defamation standards,
  • human rights principles,
  • platform safety and moderation policies,
  • responsible journalism guidelines.

The client acknowledges that:

  • final publication decisions rest with the client,
  • distribution on third-party platforms is subject to those platforms’ rules,
  • I am not responsible for moderation actions, takedowns, or algorithmic reach.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Due to the nature of media, platforms, and public discourse:

  • No guarantee is made regarding search rankings, virality, engagement, or platform visibility.
  • SEO and AI optimisation improve discoverability, not certainty of reach.
  • Narrative influence is probabilistic, not mechanical.

This service provides expert analysis and content, not guaranteed outcomes.

Source Responsibility & Client-Provided Materials

Where clients provide:

  • source material,
  • datasets,
  • prior research,
  • briefs or claims,

the client confirms that these materials are:

  • lawfully obtained,
  • accurate to the best of their knowledge,
  • not intended to mislead.

I reserve the right to verify, contextualise, or exclude sources that do not meet editorial standards.

Revisions & Boundaries

  • Revisions are limited to the scope outlined in the purchased package.
  • Requests that materially change the direction, intent, or ethical nature of the work may require:
    • a revised brief,
    • additional fees,
    • or refusal of the request.

Confidentiality

All client projects are treated as confidential unless otherwise agreed in writing.

I do not disclose:

• client identities,

• project details,

• or commissioned content,

without explicit permission.

Right to Withdraw

I reserve the right to withdraw from a project if new information indicates:

  • ethical violations,
  • legal risk,
  • misuse of the content,
  • or misrepresentation of the service.

In such cases, work completed up to that point will be delivered, and fees handled fairly and proportionately.

Refunds, Fees & Cancellations Policy

No Refunds After Work Has Started

Due to the nature of professional services and digital content:

  • No refunds are available once work has begun.
  • “Work started” includes:
    • reviewing the brief,
    • research or preparation,
    • outreach or scheduling,
    • drafting or analysis,
    • strategic planning.

This reflects time, expertise, and opportunity cost.

Cancellation Before Work Begins

If a client cancels before any work has started:

  • A refund may be issued minus processing fees charged by Gumroad and payment providers.
  • Administrative time is not refundable once booking and onboarding begin.

Missed Sessions & No-Shows (Interviews & Consultations)

For booked interviews or sessions:

  • Missed sessions or no-shows are not refundable.
  • Rescheduling requires minimum 24–48 hours’ notice (as stated in the product).
  • Late arrivals reduce the session time accordingly.

This policy protects reserved professional time.

Client Delays & Incomplete Information

If delays occur due to:

  • late responses,
  • missing materials,
  • unavailability of interviewees,
  • unapproved scope changes,

the project timeline may shift without penalty to the service provider.

Refunds are not issued for delays caused by the client or third parties.

Scope Changes & Additional Fees

The purchased package covers only what is explicitly listed.

Any of the following may require additional fees:

  • extended time,
  • expanded deliverables,
  • additional interviews,
  • significant changes to direction or objectives,
  • ethical or legal review beyond the original brief.

No additional work begins without client approval.

Digital Content & Downloads

For:

  • written content,
  • analysis,
  • reports,
  • drafts,
  • strategy documents,

all sales are final once delivered or accessed.

This aligns with standard practice for digital and intellectual services.

Platform Fees & Taxes

Refunds (where applicable) do not include:

  • Gumroad fees,
  • payment processing fees,
  • VAT or applicable taxes already collected.

These costs are non-recoverable.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute:

  • clear documentation of scope, delivery, and communication will be used,
  • good-faith resolution is prioritised,
  • chargebacks or platform disputes that contradict these terms may result in service refusal.
